Memorial Behavioral Health Comedy Night
They say that laughter is the best medicine, that's why our external event would be a comedy night. It would take place at the Rose and Alfred Miniaci Performing Arts Center at Nova Southeastern University, which is conveniently located right near Memorial Health Center. This event would raise money for mental health and substance abuse treatment, while inviting external guests to enjoy a fun night of laughter for a good cause. It would also include local celebrities, like anchors from WPTV News, hosting and making guest appearances at the event.

Therapy Talks
Our internal event would focus on raising awareness about Memorial Behavioral Health within the Memorial Healthcare system. By inviting previous patients back to speak about their success stories, Memorial Healthcare employees would be able to see the good work of MBH firsthand. These talks would follow a TED Talk format. Current staff members would also have the option to share why they are passionate about the work they do. These talks would happen every Friday during the month of January.

Internal Signage
The client also requested that we create pieces of internal signage to display in the new Memorial Behavioral Health office space. Therefore, continuing with the theme of humanizing the therapists and staff at the program, we decided to create staff highlight posters. Memorial Behavioral Health employees will have the chance to share something they find meaningful; whether it's a quote, a story, or how they got into the field. These signs will serve as a daily reminder to staff as to why they are passionate about helping others. Additionally, it will allow patients at Memorial to warm up to staff easier, once they get to see the more human side of those that are helping them on their journey to recovery.
